LS430: base pioneer system problem! help!
I have a stock 2005 ls430. Premium package with the factory pioneer system. Not the upgraded Mark levinson. Everything working perfectly until my battery died and had to jump start the car. Radio turns on and all controls work but the sound is static ridden and very weak whether it's on am/fm or CD.
No cables were crossed when jumping or any reverse polarity issues so I'm stumped. Car starts, runs and drives fine and all options are functioning as normal except stereo.
Where do I start? If the amp was blown would I still get sound at all? Could it be simple as an audio fuse?
Does the factory pioneer head unit have its own amp separate from the one in the trunk?
Everything else is fine in car. Just this that is driving me crazy.
