Here's just a little build thread/ final product of the Sub Enclosure that I built. I am running a 12" Alpine Type R, with the Monoblock 500W amp, Rux ****, and Scosche LOC. I originally had some universal box that i got off amazon, but it looked awkward in the trunk, so i built this one and it sounds great!

Tell me what you guys think! I have the amp hidden behind the front panel, resting on the tire bump. I need to make it more secure.

Why not mount it to the side of the enclosure.. but turn the amp sideways so the power wires are on the bottom an rcas on top... making the heat sink fins vertical will help dissipate heat.. it will cool a lot faster this way...especially being behind the trim panel
