Aux issue, HELP
Hello all! I'm a new lexus owner and new to the forums. I recently had an issue where the tip of my aux cord broke off into my aux port. I got it removed but now when I plug the aux cable in, sound only plays from the right side of the speakers. When the radio is on, however, it plays throughout.
I took it to the dealer and they even switched the aux port to see if that was the issue but it still did the same thing and nobody seems to be able to help me (minus the dealer kindly offering to investigate wiring for a starting price of $550).
Hopefully someone here might know what the issue is because I'd love to hear my own music, the radio is terrible haha.
Thanks!

Think. Why would a new aux that has been put in would it ONLY play on the right side? Let's go for the cheaper option first. Buy a new aux cable from your phone to the unit. Then try a friends phone ( several) to verify it's not the phone or the cable. Once you eliminated those then go to another shop and get a different aux cable put in that was replaced. Could well be a defective cable. If all that fails then take it to a shop to have it fixed.
