Default New Sub Suggestions

I have a 1000 watt rms at 1 ohm amp currently but I need a new sub. It has to be a 12", able to get loud, and be able to be used in a 1 cu. ft2 sealed enclosure. Budget is about $250

I'm leaning towards the Incriminator Audio Lethal Injection. But before I make a final decision, I would like opinions. Possibly a better sub I don't know of. Thanks,

Not really liking the low end. Hopefully it will loosen up with a few more days of playing. If not, I'll try a ported box.

That's a huge sub. Is the dimensions of the box correct? Looks to small for the sub.

LOL. Yup. The box is about 1.1 cu. ft. The sub takes away .1 cu ft. which leaves with me about .9 - 1.0 cu ft. The sub only requires at least .81 cu. ft. for the dual 4 ohm version.

Even a ported box would only require 1 cu ft which is good because I'm enjoying the trunk space. In my previous car, I had a custom 4th order bandpass box firing through the armrest and took about 90% of my trunk space.

Lol!!
Now it.won't be too long before you go to shallow mount subs to save even more space. That's the direction I'm headed anyway. Putting one in the back cargo area of the RX 350 under the storage area. Going stealth. I'll have it down firing to further the output. For my needs a good solid ten has been my.go to but this 12 caught my eye for sq.
http://stereointegrity.com/product/b...-subwoofer/The amp it's with either a JL 1000/1 mono or Alpine 500 watt amp.

I had a type R in my old bmw. Great sub for the price. Hits really hard if you have the right amp. I had it in a sealed box for sharper bass.

Sure does. Kick drums sound great. I have a MTX 1000XD on it.

Sub is probably fully broken in now but the low end is still pretty weak. I know the stock amp is filtering out a lot of the low end so I'll probably get a ported box next week. If that doesn't do the trick, I might get some kind of bass processor or EQ.
