Default Aftermarket HU in SC300

Well I just got my 92 SC300 and I still have my Alpine headunit from the old car. Looking at the stock headunit, it looks like it will be a bit more work then the normal headunit swap. Is there much extra work besides the norm? Will a harness free my stress?

Welcome to CL hemogoblin

To answer your question, it does take quite a bit of work to install an aftermarket head unit in an SC as they dont make a wire harness or any dash kits. If you use the search function you can find a wealth of information about how to correctly wire the stereo, but you'll most likely have to fabricate your own dash kit or have a shop install it for you.

Hope this helps,

Antonio
