Amplified reciever + amplifier

Amplified reciever + amplifier
I found a CD reciever that I really like, but it already has a 40W x 4 built-in amplifier.
Will I still be able to use my Nakamichi amp in my sc400 in accordance with this reciever?
I want the nak amp to drive the speakers.
And how big of a work is it to add an aftermarket cd reciever into the stock system? Expected labor fee at an audio shop?

Yeah, you can do that easy. The "amplified reciever" has RCA outputs that give you a uniform signal (not affected by built in amp) that you can send to your stock amp. This should be an easy and quick job (less then one hour to an hour).

I just started playing with sound system on my car.
I'm planning on replacing my rear mid bass speakers when I go to shop to have the reciever installed.
Now, here's my stupid-annoying-newbie question.
What's the difference between 2-way, 2-way coaxial, and 3-way coaxial speakers?
And what should I be putting in the rear of my nak. sc400?

Co-oxial is when a tweeter is attached to the center of the speaker. I am prety sure you have seen those 6x9 speakers with all the crap mounted in the center. The separates on the other hand have separate woofer and tweeter. Three-way system consists of tweeter, midrange and midbase (3 components) and two-way is tweeter and the woofer. Just go with 2-way separates with passive crossovers (the box that comes with the component system) since you normally need kickpanels to take advantage of 3-way.
