Default Decided on Dynaudio

Hi guys,

I've finally decided on Dynaudio for my 97 SC3 but there's no dealer near my area (OR, WA) so I will need to purchase them thru online, I did find few vendors that carry them.

I'm looking to put 220 mkII or 240 mkII(if it fits) in front and MW 160 or same front speakers in rear.

You think this is good set-up?

Also, what kind of amp will work good with them?

Thanks

I went with the Dynaudios also. I purchased mine online from carstereotime.com. Try ebay also, there's a few online dealers that put them up there.

As far as amps go...most people here will say McIntosh, ArcAudio, Zapco. Those are top notch amps to go with your top notch speakers. You can't go wrong with any one of those manufacturers. I'm running the JL Audio 300/2 (175 watts x 2). It sounds really good and are much cheaper than the amps above. You want to go with at least 100 watts per channel to run the system 240. Get as much power as you can afford.

Default Dynaudio

I got mine from woofersetc.com. Great service! Check out their prices.
(They are apparently re-doing their website, didn't seem to work well with Netscape.)

I am VERY happy with my Dyn's. I have MD100's in the pods, MW160's in the doors AND MW170's in the rear doors ! all run with a JL 300/4. The sounds is sensational coming from a Pioneer DEX-P9 and it's partner in crime the DEQ-P9 processor.

Today I went to here Diamond Audio S600a and sound it really good,
I liked it better than Focal Utopia 165W I hope that DynAudio sound better. I'll power them with JL 300/4.

Also, send an email to the online vendor for availability and will place order soon.
