ANY Mc tube amp is worth lusting after.... 
Russian tubes are actually QUITE nice! I don't know if they made them with the Western Electric 300B triode. Now THAT would be something worth looking and listening to!
Still, they did the 0.1% total harmonic distortion measurement back in 1949, and to this day, they're one of the very few companies that can back up their distortion, s/n ratio, etc. with REAL LIFE measurements. Back in '49, every other company CLAIMED to have as low (or lower) distortion than the Mc, but they never did back up their claims on the real life test bench. Still goes the same today, but their magic number for solid state stuff is 0.005%. Most of the Mc equipment will measure at LOWER than that spec! That applies both in their car audio and home audio products.
