Default System Time!!!!!!

OK guys,
i have tha 90 LS with the Nak. system. I am planning to take out that crappy 8in sub and replace it with another. I am planning to build a box and attach it to the deck. Now my deliema is what should i get. I am looking for a single 12in. also i am planning to shell out 600 for amp and sub. SO i guess 300ish for sub and another 300ish for amp. What is the best for my budget. And i want soemthing that hits hard.

your gonna get everyone's opinion and chances are it will all be different, but aside of mainstream stuff, i invite you to check out Ample Audio. they are doing well in SPL these days and although a newer company, we took highest DB in several events running the DX monoblock amps and the DVC subs.

you'd be surprised what the new guys can do.

the EXONIC 12X looks verynice. Do they hit harder than solobarics? I was looking at the 12in L7. ALso how much the exonic goes for?

the L7's are tough company in spl. they do well if set up properly. the ample are definately cleaner than the L7 and the spl is pretty much the same, the ample might get three to five more db. price is similar on both units. the ample is definately cleaner though, and much better looking.

I would also include IDMAX in the list since you can get it for like $280 these days. Put something like discontinued Clarion APX (best bang for the buck) on it and you should be happy. If you are looking for most SPL I though recommend L7 or DD. Although they are both SPL subs, DD should have better SQ then L7 and be as loud or louder (can only be purchased at http://www.ddaudio.com/).
