Default '00 RX non-nak stereo wiring (help me!)

I have a non-nakamichi 2000 RX300 w/ cd changer and I want to install some sound-related stuff...

Short version: I need pinouts of the stereo head unit and stereo-cd player wiring harnesses.

I don't want to replace the head unit, but I do need an aux in. I dont want to use an fm modulator as it would kill some of the audio quality. If I understand the system correctly, the amp is stashed in the back under the seat or something (I can leave that alone). Anyway, I need a way to patch an external input in. it'll have its own volume control. Autotoys sells a replacement wiring harness that lets you replce the stereo, if somebody has that a wiring diagram of it would be useful. I just need to know what to hook up to what.

Also does the stereo have a pin for phone muting? I am going to install a phone cradle that has a stereo mute line, which pin would this be?

thanks...

Blitzsafe makes an aux input adapter for lexus check them out. There is a mute wire at the stock amp. I dont have the diagram at home but I can find it for you.

yes diagrams would be most helpful, I have been unable to find any anywhere.

I assume you mean the blitzsafe
LEXUS
LEX/AUX DMX
1998-02
FOR MP3 OR DVD VCP

which then
BLITZSAFE OFFERS ADAPTERS FOR DVD OR MP3 PLAYERS TO INTERFACE AUDIO OUTPUT TO FACTORY OEM RADIOS. BY THE PUSH OF THE CD BUTTON

however that sounds like I would have to give up my existing cd changer, which I don't want to do. I'd rather just splice my inputs into the preamp outputs from the factory head unit, then hook up the wires for amp-on, mute (to phone car kit), et, which should work fine cuz my source has a volume control. Also as this would give me a direct tap, I could in theory hook up my phone's speaker to use the car speakers instead of its speaker box. then the phone's mute wire would also go to amp-on so it would turn on the amp when sound is needed.

It is designed to keep your existing cd changer and have aux input.

No, you just select track up then down quickly and it switches over to aux.
