Changing Ohms
I just bought a subwoofer box and a 2 channel mono amp and I wanted to know how I can change the ohm load of the speakers coz the woofers are 4 ohm's and the amp is a 2 ohm amp so the amp's owners manual says that if I was to put a 2 ohm load on the amp that I would be pushing 800 watts as compared to 400 watts in a 4 ohm load and you guy's know I want that whole 800 watts so I need help
any attention to this would greatly help............THANKS

Yeah ive been researching this stuff to, i ordered 2 kappa perfect 10.1s and a JBL BP600.1 amp and cant wait to install them. But i have a question for you, what are you using as your remote turn on lead, and are you using a line output converter (line level converter) or did you find out where to get the unamped signal from?

Actualy I just got the dashkit for the GS and I'm running a aftermarket head unit with stock(FOR NOW) interiors but to answer your question I had to bypass the factory amp and run the interiors off the radio and to get the remote turn on I tapped into the acc line to power the amp and of course the subs are on the pwr amp
