I've looked thorugh this forum and can't see anything for the GX470 - my kids want to watch ion the front as well.

Just got GX470, black/charcoal/black gold loaded - love it!

as far as i know, you can't do it. i just got the new '04 RX330 with the same rear entertainment system. you can view the DVD on the front screen only when you are parked, with the parking brake ON. you need to press "DISC" to switch from CD mode to AUX mode, and your movie will come on.

even if you try to drive with your parking brake on, once the Nav senses you are 2mph or above, then it switches back to Nav screen. you can still listen to the DVD through the speakers while driving.

presumably, it seems possible to adjust the wiring to sense these two conditions - if anyone comes up with any ideas, please post them here! thanks!

There should be a ground wire that allows for the DVD player to play in the front when the parking brake is engaged, I dont know if you want to get down into the brake and do it, but all you should have to do is find a constant ground for it, instead of the open/closed connection of the parking brake.

what about the speed sensor? i know that some have tried driving short distances with the park brake ON, but once it senses 2mph+, then i goes right back to Nav . . .

do you know of anything to adjust that?
