I have the ML system with the Nav system in my 02 GS300 and I was wondering if it has an auxiliary audio input? If there isn't, is there a way to input into the ML system in the same way that the audio from the Nav system does? The reason I'm asking this question is because I'm considering installing a Valentine One radar detector with the remote audio adapter which has 2 headphone jacks (one mini, 3.5mm; and one micro, 2.5mm). I wanted to use the output from one of those jacks as an input into the ML system so that the audio warnings of the Valentine would play over the stereo speakers. Thanks.

According to the wiring diagram for the ML system in the LS430, there is no AUX input. However, there are two sets of L & R audio signal between the radio and player (cd changer) going to the amplifier. Maybe you could tap into one of these sets. I'd be careful not to introduce any line noise by adding the V1. A Electrical Wiring Diagram (EWD) book for your car will have the ML wiring.
