Default Valentine 1 Hardwire revisited....

Can someone please post a link or provide some pictures of a Valentine 1 hardwired in a GS with the remoste display installed directly on the face of teh rear view mirror? I know I have seen it before on CL but cannot locate it.
I do not have one yet, but those of you with V1's, are there any drawbacks besides the price?
Is the Valentine website the only place where this porduct can be purchased new?
Thanks in advance.

Mumbles...that's an awesome link....it's pretty trick.

Spartan, There are no drawbacks other than price. The only draw back I've ever heard besides price is looks. Once you learn the unit, it's easy to operate. It does false more than my 8500 did, but that is probably due to extended range and sensitivity. I programmed it to cancel all X signals and dramatically improved the falsing. It still falses more than it should, but with the arrows and counter, you can easily tell if it's real or not. Yes, the only places to buy a Valentine is from them directly or from ebay. There are no retail stores for Valentine. Make sure it's the 1.8 version if you buy used.

Here's another place that has pics of the mirror install. It's a flash site so I can't post a direct link.

http://www.teknicar.com/

After that page loads up, click on the Teknicar logo, then after the flash window pops up, click on radars. After that loads, click on view installations and then mirror mounted.
