Default Vlads Kit Antenna?

Vlads kit does not come with the diversity antenna for TV reception. In call around trying to find a shop that has one, I have been told that they are worthless and the TV reception from a car is pointless.

Does anyone have the TV setup? Does it work well? What antenna did you use?

I tried to search but couldn't find a good answer.

TV viewing can be pretty bad in weak signal areas if the car is in motion. Forget trying to watch anything, but the sound may still be OK. Now if your parked, the only true *safe way to be watching TV* use a basic amplified antenna system, like Pioneer's AN-G3 your picture can be very enjoyable. If you really want good picture and sound quality while in motion wait for the KVH phased array TracVision A5 for DirecTV in your car (see http://www.kvh.com/tracvision/a5/index.asp).

I think that antenna is bigger than our roofs. Did you see the picture with it affixed to the Suburban Roof Rack? That thing is huge!

Thanks for your response, for $75 I guess its hard to go wrong in giving it a try.
