2008 Lexus GS350 Mark Levinson LOC help!
Hi All,
I am trying to get aftermarket sub / amp install using a LOC to my OEM system. I went to a shop with all the proper gear needed.
After installation, the problem is that the sub will play for a little bit and then the LOC keeps frying out. I have been through 3 LOC's already. The worker initially wired to the sub channel and said that that was too much input so he then wired to the "rear Speaker channel" which of course still did not work.
He then suggested I should go with the AudioControl Lc2i.
Is he full of it? Or is he just wiring incorrectly? Should an LOC be able to work or do I need the audiocontrol?
Thanks,

The thing sells for $4.50 on Ebay. How many do you need to blow out to see it is not a quality piece of equipment? It is rated at 59 watts max. That is total input for both channels and probably peak power. It is designed for a stock head unit with no external amp.
If you want it to work correctly, you need to spend some money and get equipment that can handle what you are trying to do.
