Can someone please tell me exactly what color is the remote wire from the amp for a 99 GS 300? I've done searches and still have not found a clear answer. I need to connect my 2nd amp remote to it. And if you tell me what color, can you also tell me which connector it is connected to?
Also, if the 2nd amp is NOT connected to the battery, can you still blow the amp by touching the ground and power? I accidently touched the power to the ground while I was connecting the amp and there was a big spark. But there was no power actually running to it. Please tell me it's not blown.

Well, never did find the remote wire for the factory amp. I just connected the remote wire for the second amp to the sunroof fuse on the passenger side. Also found out that I didn't blow the amp or a fuse when the ground touched the power last night. But these 4 12's that I have ein there now, i had in my Maxima, and it does not sound the same. It just not enough boom. I think there may be something wrong or I just need to get a new head unit. Which is what I will do in a few months. Gotta get my mp3 player back in the car.

I remembered reading a post from sparky3. He figured the wire coloring. You can use a test light to find out which wire is which most of the time. Connect one to ground and probe around. For the remote turn on, the light will turn off when you take out the key. Correct me anybody if I'm wrong.
