I'm trying to order these headrest from Myron Davis with 7" screens. The problem is there tech support clams that they only make them for 2003's and up.

The local Lexus dealership states that the part #'s are different.
Can someone confirm any differences between the 98' and 2003 model year Headrest. Or should it fit without a problem.

i have it on my 2001 gs...it's a new headrest different from the factory one... it would fit 98-and up....or u can switch the rear headrest to the front and put 7" monitor it will work.. hope that help jimmy

HiTech... just to be clear, are you refering to having the 7" Myron Davis Headrest in your 2001.

yes i do have the 7" myron davis on my gs.... myron davis 7" headrest picture quality is pretty good only thing is the leather color is a little off.

How the hell did they screw that one up, did you order over the phone or did you go through a local dealer with a color match chart.

well i order to my local shop.. the first one sented didn't match because of texture.... then they sented the second one same things... so finally they sent me the color chart... only one come close to my interior... so now the texture match but the color is a little off but can't really notice it

2001HiTechGs - Sorry to hear that the color was off on your headrests. I actually I am a regional sales manager here at Myron and Davis. The reason that you had a problem with the color match on your headrest is because of the different lots on the leather. In matching Black you have a few different options... Black, Mid-night Black, Graphite Black, and Charcoal Black. But the reg. Black is the best match that we came up with and that comes from the largest OEM leather suppliers in the US.

And we make headrest for 98+ GS300/400/430. We pretty much cover the GS, LX, GX, and RX headrests.
