2 way alarm/starter with motion detectors? AST Ultrastarters?
Has anyone heard of Applicated Security Technologies (AST) Ultrastarters? I'm looking for the best 2 way alarm/autostarter with a very sensetive motion sensor for my GS4.
I need something that will help protect my car from people passing by keying it or steeling my wheels.
Any other suggestions?

WOAH!!! take it easy there.
are you really sure you want a "motion sensor?
those things go off on windy days. you get to many sensors youre gonna have an alarm going off constantly while driving you crazy. i hope you plan out your security system carefully.
by the way, i havent heard of that alarm system that you mentioned.

I have Ultrastarter XP 4500 in my car. It's required some mod before installation. Very nice product. But I have no idea about "motion sensor". I think it's will be very "noisy " setup.

thats the same model alarm i was looking at. Is it about 500 installed? Any issues with it? i maybe getting something similar but it has built in GPS tracking. The dealer is trying to get their hands on it for me to install.
I know the motion sensor is sensative, but i need something to sleep better at night.

Actually, no issues. I use it already for 8 month. I have Crime Stopper FM2006 on my second car. This one has a lot of issues (a lot of miss communication between remote and receiver, like you push one button it's recognize another one). As far as communication range for Ultrastarter it depends a lot on proper antenna location. I have range about 200..300 yards with horizontal antenna location close to the roof.
I did installation myself. I use "keyless" bypass on my both cars. I know a lot of dealers setup key dependent bypass. If you are really care about your car security do not use it.
