I started using my new MD player with the car kit in my car. It sounds better than I expected. At least until I'm able to get a CD Changer for the trunk.

I used a md player through the cassette deck for awhile in my 91 LS400. I had planned to replace it with a CD deck and/or a CD changer, but I grew to like the size, sound quality and durability of the MD's better than CD. I wound up getting a Blaupunkt in-dash MD player (New Orleans model) with all the bells and whistles for less than half of original retail from Crutchfield. Now whenever I buy a CD, I burn it to an MD with my home pc to play in the car. Most MD decks have an aux input for a cd changer, so you could always get an MD deck and add on a cd changer and have the flexibility to play both.

GA400, I thought of getting a car-MD too. I never looked into it. MD players rule. You can put 5 compact discs worth of songs into that little disc. I waited a year to get this one because it has a radio.
