my stereo cuts in and out until the car warms up.this happens in am fm cd and tape, the front panel never looses power, and if i switch modes or channels or power off and on the stero fires right up only to cut off again until it decides to work contiuously. how or what do i do to get this fixed

Check the harness at the amp. It's easy to acces in the trunk. Just wiggle the wires and see if it cuts out. Also, check your grounds. Sounds like a tricky problem to find the cause of.
