Smile Great question

I am a refugee from the SC 400 Forum. I had to get rid of my 96 SC 400 with 38K miles due to back problems. Just bought a 2002 LS 430 with 4,000 miles for $48K. Was that a good deal? It has the Custom Luxury Package and I too thought playing movies on the screen should be possible, practical and something Lexus would want to have provided!!! I look forward to a possible answer if one comes. Thanks for asking. Oh, if the 2004 LS 430's are really a change upward, I'll make someone a good deal on my car! lol

Default Please remember

that it is illegal to watch a TV while driving. This is really becoming an issue of legal and police action, and if stopped by the Police, you will get a citation for it. The tragedy in Alaska is worth thinking about before you invest your time and money in such an action. Just MHO.

It is illegal to watch any movies when the car is in motion, thats why Lexus doesnt even allow the owner to use the Navigation while the car is in motion.

That's a big NO NO. Over price and low quality of the unit., plus you don't want to deal with the guy from Lextasy at all. Just wait for a few more months guys.

lexus does not let you use the navi while driving, but this is not true for all companies
My accord will let me use what ever functions i want on my navi while driving. It really distracts you from driving and is not a good thing.

just a random comment

Actually you can operate many NAV functions while driving, you just can't use the ones that require a lot of keystrokes, such as entering an addresss, etc.

Another factor to consider is that a passenger might want to operate the nav system (not a safety hazard), and the lockout prevents that.

VVT-i, are you working on a kit or something? I don't need to know details as I don't want your product stolen, but an idea of what's to come might help the months pass more easily.
