Can we combine different audio equiptment?
For example . . I want to get a pioneer 7in in-dash TV and buy a Clarion DVD changer so i can watch movies but some "Amateurs" told me it wont work . . i just want someone to clarify this situation for me . . Thanks

Mixing audio components is not a good idea if you want to have control (remote, front panel or touch screen) for the DVD changer from the head unit. If you simply want to have the DVD changer play as a stand alone player using it's own supplied remote control then OK. In other words, only video and audio can be passed on standard RCA connectors, most DVD changers and head units have proprietary connectors like Clarion's CeNET or Pioneer's IP-Bus that allows components to work better together.
