I was wondering how many layers of mat people have used on their trunk lids? I have an sc300, and have put 3 layers of raammat. With every layer, it gets a bit better, but still rattles badly. It sounds like when I hold the trunk down from the outside, it helps alot, so maybe my trunk lock isnt tight enough. Anyone have any ideas on the trunk lock, how to make it tighter etc... and how many layers of mat did you need to use ?

I have one layer of Dynamat Original, but I have a sealed box (so less energy transmitted to trunk lid). No problems with trunk lid, but spoiler still vibrates.
Just don't let the trunk lid fall on your head by accident. It could literally kill you if it happens to hit the right (wrong) spot. (I have a problem when on my driveway incline - lid doesn't like to stay up since I added the weight.)
