Default Nakamichi Problem

This has happened twice already. When I turn on my car, my Nakamichi deck has all the LCD bars showing. The display is full of nonsense. None of the buttons function, and it doesnt turn on. I removed the #2 fuse under the hood and waited a couple hours. It worked fine for about a week and has just done it again. I am wondering if this is a headunit problem, or an amp problem, or something else... Anyone have any further info about this? Any info much appreciated.

Ok, so it happened this morning. When I pulled into the parking lot, I pulled the radio fuse under the hood. When I came back about 5 hours later, I put it back in and viola, my radio works again. Anyone have similar problems? Anything I should look for such as electrical problems or a problem iwith headunit / amp? Thanks.

It is probably a problem inside the headunit itself. Prob a partially fried component, or bad solder joint(s).
Maybe the dealer can swap the headunit for you just to see if that is the problem, then you can decide what to pay for - whether to have it repaired, replaced, or go aftermarket.
