2003 ver 1 NAV DVD: anyone got a list of what new stuff is in this just released DVD?
(came out first week of October and my dealer just got a few in-stock now)

My dealer''s info sheet only mentionat that the number of point of interest(POI) has
been increased from 2 million to 5 million...... (not really enough to justify
spending $300 ???)

Thanks for any information!

I have the new 2003 ver. 1 navigation DVD and have posted a description of it's contents in the LS400/LS430 forum. I'm very impressed with the updated map database for my area and only slightly impressed with the increased number of POI's. Read my full review here.

Go to your navigation computer (not the dash display) and pop out the old DVD and insert the new one. Wait for a couple seconds and fully operational.

Probably could be done because I think the navigation discs are single sided, but it's copyrighted material and I won't brake that law (unlike the posted speed limit ).
