Default Installation Tip

It seem that most of the people use that plastic dash kits on there cars when installing a head unit and then have to paint it to match.I see that the companies that sell the wooddash kits have a large piece of wood that goes on the glove box door this can be used to make a custom trim and can be glued on top of the plastic dash instsllation kit to make a very custom fit...............

Lightbulb What company?

What company sells the big piece. This is why I've been holding out on the wood, didn't want to leave the radio naked black.

I dunno, having that much wood may look wierd. Have you personally done this Lexkost? If so, do you have a pic? My kit is metal and came painted black, I think it looks pretty good.

Earl! , I have not done it yet but I will when I install a new headunit.

By the way you can reuse your pads if you hand sand them and round the corners( I just changed my rotors also)..............

Most places just sell the kits ...................But if you know of a place that custom makes kits then you can do what you said............This place will do anything you want even your molded part they can redo.
