im really not sure... i mean i like the look of the car... but not for 100+k... i dont honestly believe it evokes a great amount of emotion and passion. still, if it can run with the ferraris and lamborghinis out there, i dont see why some people wouldnt pay 100k. but still for those in that upper echelon of living, they highly value the name and ferrari just says mounds, while lexus is ju.st "meh, whatever" they would have been wise to try to work this body into what would be a new supra and sell it on a higher production run. i think lexus is honestly trying to go after the mercedes SL.... but lexus doesnt really hold the same name value as mercedes. people that want real exotics will go with real exotics.

It looks nice and all, but for $100K (which translates into about 1.5x the price more here in Australia) I think I'd rather put that towards a house.

In my opinion, no car is worth $100,000.....Lexus or otherwise. Under normal circumstances that is just simply too much to spend on a car. Now............I guess if you are Jay Leno or other rich car enthusiast, can afford to spend six-figure sums for cars, and really derive a lot of satisfaction from these cars and are willing to maintain them properly....well then maybe.

I think that if money is no issue, then buying a Lexus super car is the smartest thing to do, because I'm sure for the $100,000 it will offer more than other super cars for $300,000.

Sure, it's not as prestigious as a ferraris and porsches, but that prestige is easy to gain by letting them enjoy the view of your disappearing tail lights.

Those taillights disappear pretty quickly, too, when your Ferrari or Porsche is doing 0 MPH in a repair shop waiting for parts.
