Theres got to be something big under the hood, look how big it is. Looks awsome.

I think they need to hand one of the prototypes over to me. Any of them will do, I wont be picky. lol

What do you mean another SC, this is a new model if they ever make a production version of the LF-A concept

That looks realy nice, especially the picture on the front page (the blue one). Its great to see Lexus expand all of their models to create more customers.

No, the Supra will be either priced against the Z or a class higher

The blue one looks closer to a production car... It has a more normal front grill, and those look a lot like the wheels on my IS350...

I think that is going to be a mistake. The Supra TT was suppose to be a sports car, I think if they come out with the V8 similarly priced to the Z than we wouldn't have the same Supra heritage. If anything I think they should do something similar as before. A low priced one with a smaller engine (3.5 V6) and the rumored 5.0 V8 as the high end sports model (replaces the TT). Or maybe instead of a 5.0 V8 a 4.X V8 with turbo. The high end Supra model should compete with the likes of the Skyline GT-R. My opinion though. Toyota knows marketing better than I do.

What I mean is that with all the concept cars, press releases, rumors, and out and out lies, I am not sure I have seen anything about an upcoming SC replacement, and it is getting overdue IMO. Lexus certainly has room to do an exotic sports two seater, ala Mercedes Mclaren, and a GT, ala SL, but I just haven't seen anything yet about an SC replacement. The SC is in need of a makeover IMO, but just wondering how many models they will end up with.

The GT-R is going to be a Infiniti, if the Supra was to compete with that, it means that the Supra might end up ~60-80k, as the GT-R rumors are of it competing with the 911 Turbo, the Supra would just die because of high price just as the MKIV did

Use your head for a second there. There are such things as engine options. Not all BMW 5 series cost as much as an M5 nor do they have the same options. So by the logic stated here, why does the GS compete with the 5 series when the M5 costs a LOT more?

A V6 Supra could be priced at $30k-$35k and wreak havoc on 350z, EVO, and STi sales. That GR motor makes more power than stated (puts down more to the wheels through an auto tranny than the VQ through a manual) and would make a pretty nasty GT car.
A V6 Supra running the GR motor with a manual tranny on a shortened IS chassis at around 3300-3400lbs would be pretty nasty. 1/4 mile low 13s at around 107ish I'd imagine. At least as fast as the SupraTT was stock.

GT-R will be nice, but it won't be competing with the 997 turbo OR the LF-A. Maybe the 996 turbo?
