Then again, the summary in the yellow box shows conflicting info. I tend to believe the faster one.

They were *supposed* to improve the headlights! We pretty much all agreed the front end looked a bit droopy. They seemed to have fixed that but now the headlights look a bit, worse! I hope they did not drop the grille and go for the orange rendering look that was posted. I'm expecting better things from Lexus, the rest of the car looks great.

If the rumor that they are ditching Aluminum for Carbon Fiber is true.... with ~2600lb and 500hp... I'd very much think a sub 4.0 sec 0-60 is possible. In fact, at 2600lb... this thing would be a MONSTER.
An interesting thing to ponder, the new Team Lexus IS350GT will have 450-470hp we think so far, and about a 2800lb weight. They are pitting this against the Ferrari F430. Now imagine the speed and handling of a car with a higher-tech motor, more torque, F1 tranny, and 200 lb less than this IS350GT!!

From CarBest mag in Japan
On Edmund's, some guy posted on the GT450, from CarBest mag of May 26, 2006.

It will be a 4.5L V10 500HP car. No 5L it appears.... Paddle shifter, but also with a 6-MT. RPM all the way to 12,000. Pics to come, hopefully soon...

Yeah the 4.5L makes sense particularly since a top Japanese executive said in the first LF-A debut that they were "happy that this engine produces more than 500hp with a displacement of less than 5 liters". As you may have learned from mathematics, 5L is not less than 5L. 4.5L is.
EDIT: Hmm the Edmunds post also says the Supra will come with the 380-400hp 4.6L V8 in the LS460, beats the 370Z's 330-350hp for good but is shy of the next GT-R's 450hp 3.7L V6 TT.
