New SC = Next-Gen MR-S!?
OK, so the rumor mill that is autonet.com.tw, the Taiwanese online automotive publication, is hard at work again. This time one of the headline news is this: "New Lexus SC = successor of the Toyota MR-S?"
Almost too bizarre, but on the second thought it might just make sense, since the supposedly upcoming IS Coupe/Convertible is definitely going to eat into the SC Convertible market, and making the SC mid-engined can be a good way to set it apart.
As usual I am too cheap to pay for the subscription, so y'all have to imagine up the rest of the details.
Here's the main page of the site:
http://www.autonet.com.tw
And here's the direct link to the article in case someone wants to pay for the subscription:

Cheers.

Hmm seems that they aren't making payments easy for the overseas people. I'll have to call them up to see what options they have.
I know Robarapta will be so ready to upgrade if the new SC turns out to be an MR layout (and to change the screen name to SexierSC afterwards).

Couldn't agree more. Its gotta have the length, width and the proper layout, forget the hard-top convertible; leave that behind in the IS-C. Go with hard-top/sunroof or glass roof set up. They might as well go 2 door shortened LS with racing suspension and interior and the LFA motor in the SC-F version. The gotta make the car look strong with smaller glass windows, make it lower and agressive.
