Lexus Test Driver
well, the 2014 LS is quite eye pleasing..especially the F-Sport model!
the new RC coming out and NX both this coming fall will surely make it worth to stick around!

The RC-F does catch my eye but it's a little too small. A GS-F is a definite possibility but it's not here yet. I need more power in the LS before I buy it again. I'm currently on my third one...

Lexus Test Driver
Yep I have a SPIN card too! I'm going to a HUGE lexus testing facility in Miami next month for training. Really looking forward to going. Heard it's pretty cool! Anyways I'm hearing whispers that we might get a legit LS-F sometime around 2016! As well as a total redesign of the LS all the way across the board even sooner! (About time)

I wonder if the turbo charged engine will also make it in the 350?
The IS sports sedan will be the next product in the Lexus lineup to gain a turbocharged engine.
Speaking to AutoGuide today at the New York Auto Show a company representative confirmed that the new turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder announced for the NX crossover will soon be offered in the IS.

Currently the base IS250 model makes use of an antiquated 2.5-liter V6 engine. Rated at 204 hp it’s not only down on power compared to turbocharged 4-cylinder rivals but it also offers inferior fuel economy.
The company rep who wished to remain anonymous said that the upcoming NX200t model will make 237 hp in production trim, while that number could be increased to closer to 250 for the IS.

The new NX will also debut with a hybrid engine similar to that offered in the ES300h, making roughly 200 hp and delivering approximately 40 MPG combined. While an IS300h model is available overseas, Lexus has not said if it will be offered in North America.

GM has a 2.0 liter turbo engine producing 1000 horsepower (not in a production automobile, of course). These 2.0Ts can be extremely powerful and impressive. I'm happy to see Lexus getting comfortable with turbocharging...

This is good info! From over a year ago too. I posted my thoughts on the 2-liter turbo over the blog here.
