92 SC300 Auto 177k $4000 OBO
Hey guys, I'm thinkin of getting rid of my SC300 already, I love the car but its not practical for me at the time. It's a maroon/red 92 SC300 with 177,xxx miles on the clock. An automatic, 12 Disc Changer, Casette, moonroof/sunroof (whatever it is on these things), power everything, heated seats, runs well, had new battery, front rotors and ceramic pads, alignment, and tires (215/60/15) about 3k miles ago. For a higher mileage car I'm impressed.
I won't lie though, it does have its share of problems that I havent picked up since I bought the car. The previous owner took horrible care of it, the neighbor's who I bought it off of son had it out in college in Arizona, partied alot, and so the interior on the driver side got a little ripped up, I cant feel it but you can see it on the left side of the seat when you get in. The car got hit while they had it in the rear quarter panel I guess, its dinged in, but not crumpled and can be pulled easily, as far as I know there is no frame damage. The suspension could definitly need a refresher, new springs/shocks/bushings would liven up the car. It rides smooth enough for me, but its not perfect for its age and miles. The steering wheel stands vertically after a left turn, steering rack maybe? I dont know I havent had it looked at, it doesnt affect the handling, its just weird, after I take a right turn it levels back out to horizontal. The radio works ok but kinda staticy sometimes, and the CD changer skips if you hit a hard bump, other than that the car works fine.
I really enjoy the car but I need somethin cheap and a beater for now. Please make offers. I'd like to get 4k out of it, and I really can't deliver the car, I would have to find a vehicle immediately after selling this one. Send offers, or PM me, or emal me. Thanks. Daniel.
