Default 93 sc300 black/grey 5 speed 2jz-gte

I have finally come to the tough decision and I need to sell my car. Its a great start on a fast car but I don't have the money to finish it. If it doesnt sell, i might consider parting some of it out for some money. I am hoping someone will want this car whole though.

Bsically it is a 1993 sc300. It has a 5 speed transmission, it's black with grey leather interior. It has 16x,xxx miles on the chasis, doesnt include motor.

Mods were done tastefully. no big body kits or wings here. The interior is completly stock including a perfect gauge cluster, perfect ac unit, perfect radio and cd changer. The driver side seat is torn, which sucks and i had a cover on it, the carpet is dirty from my big dirty boots always getting in it from work. The carpet will look nice with a little time and a carpet shampooer

MOTOR is SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!

Suspension is handled with supra shocks and eibach springs. The car rolls on Volk III wheels 18x9 & 18x10 245/40 265/35 respectively. The car has a nice tight feel to it and corners very well for such a heavy car.

ASKING $5000

Do you know what kind of numbers it is putting down? Estimates?

What still needs done with the motor?

I havent dyno'd it but stock supra do like 275 to the wheels or so, i am guessing around there.
You can do whatever you would like to the motor if you buy it. It runs as it is right now if that is what you were asking.

Why would you put JDM twins on over a used set of US ones?
your really limiting the potential on stock twins with those.

Do you have the paperwork on where you bought the motor?
Im interested, and would want to make sure it is a USDM engine

JDM twins were used because it was the only good set of twins i could find. I bought them off ebay from a local seller, i can post the link if needed. Titan has a set for sale but when i went to look at them, the seals seemed to be bad. Same problem i had with my original twins. As far as limiting the potential.... the jdm twins spool faster than us twins. I have full boost by 3k rpm. If you want big numbers why wouldnt you go single? Too many people abuse the twins beyond their limits. Thats why most used twins for sale are bad.

The work was done at Auto Tuners in Oviedo, FL. Many supras have been built there and they have a great reputation. Several supra owners from SF.com (cowboy bebop, adam gamz-the former owner)were there while the swap was being done so i can have them verify the motor being us spec or you can call Auto Tuner yourself.

Anybody else let me know if you want pictures of a part of the car i havent posted.

Japanese spc motors do not have an air flow meter, only USDM motors do.

hey possibly interested, can you send pics and details to aznlightning2002@yahoo.com

have some questions

any rust?
clean title?
accidents?
how's the paint?
Is the transmission grinding or popping out of gear?
Overall what would you rate the condition of the chassis?
what else needs to be finished?
And do you have compression numbers on the motor?
Where did you source the motor from?

pics are posted unless you specify a pic you want.

-car has zero rust.
-clean title
-accident free, maybe some minor taps in a parking lot, but nothing since ive had it.
-paint is original. it look real nice still, only has two faded spots in the paint on the back pillars.
-transmission shifts perfectly
-the car is completely straight, only the interior needs cleaning and the driver seat re-covered.
-well, i consider the car finished, someone else might want to upgrade it. its basically a stock supra.
-i can get compression numbers for it if needed from auto tuner.
-the motor was purchased from a guy in orlando who swapped this motor for a fully built motor. it came from a 95 automatic TT.

Hey can you send me pics of the fading spots? Like is it oxidation or is the clear coat chipping off? Also, is the power steering leaking or any cracked old fraided hoses? Also does the car have LSD?

i will get those pics up asap. the clear coat isnt chipped or anything, just the paint is faded there, i think its common, but not positive. the rest of the cars shines like a champ when its clean. i will polish the headlights before it is sold too to brighten those up nice and clear.
the power steering line WAs leaking when i bought the car but was fixed, and then during the swap, all new hoses were used because you need to custom mount the resevoir and custom hoses had to be used. pump makes no noise when turning.

the lip is a very hard to get peice. it cost a ton of money and i wont tell where i got it.

jk, go to home depot or lowes and look in the gardening section. you will find the lip there.
for everybody's satisfaction, the lip is no longer on the car.

edit: on a side note.....YAY 100 POST!!!!!
