Bill you need to post an asking price per forum rules please.

Members are also going to be curious about dyno results for this car, what engine management is being used, exactly which Tein coilivers (HA, Flex, SS, CS) etc

PS - the bodykit on the car pictured is L-sportline, not L-tuned

Do you have anyone on the forum who can vouch for you / knows you?

is there anyway i can get in touch with jimmy?
I actually would like to keep the car, it just worries me as i didn't know had it before me...if the work was done right and professionally, if the car is reliable and what not......
Please tell me more about the car.....
Aside from being one of the coolest cars i've ever seen/driven...i don't know too much about the vehicle.....
I bought it to flip and make a quick g, but if someone can give me some info, maybe i'll hold onto it.
Thanks for you help guys.

Why isn't this car getting any action people?
I had bids on ebay up to $22,000, but my reserve of $23k wasn't hit.....
I serioulsy thought this car would bring in at least $25,000 when I saw it.
The kbb retail for year and mileage is over $25k. Don't these expensive mods add any value to the right buyer?

Anyone with experience please give me some insight, or a sense of reality it seems, b/c i guess i was dreaming when i thought this car was gonna be easy to flip.

to be honest with you bill, most people out there does not modify cars nor do they know the value of modified cars.

if someone would buy a modified car, one would think they raced it, which in terms would bring on negative thoughts..unless you know the true history of this car and the owner, most people would shy away.

buying a car to flip is may be unwise as you see. one way to get around this is to part out all the aftermarket items and restore it to stock so you take away the "raced" image.

i'm sure there are some people that may be interested in buying your aftermarket items.

second option is to trade it in so you don't have to deal with anything.

good luck.

Well, if you can i would keep the car....with 38k miles I'm sure the car is really reliable and the boost is set pretty low not to damage any internal parts. ALot of people would luv to have that car..... but if you do sell it returning it back to stock would draw more attention then the raced look... It may sell on CL because thats what we do with the GS's but for the general public and your average joe the stock look would be better...

I have to say that your gs is one hell of a car.... Still someone put alot of money into the turbo and body kit.... Not only could you get between 23-25k for the car.....but the turbo by itself goes for like 4-5k... so parting out would make more sense IMO..... Good Luck

Default stock parts?

I'd return the car to stock and sell the mod's, however, i don't have all of the factory parts. i'd need front, rear bumpers, side rockers......all of the engine stock parts...how pricey will it be to return the car to stock, and where can i get all of the parts from at a good price?

and to be honest....if i could get the turbo off of the car, i'd probably keep it.....i drive 150 miles per day, and def don't think its wise to put that kind of milage on an after market turbo...so i haven't been driving it (i have a dinan chipped and cold air 323i as my daily driver)
but an 01 gs with 38k miles, without the engine mods, i would think is a pretty damn reliable car to use for work....

i appreciate your insight.
