Gents,
I live in St. Louis, MO and I'm selling my GS due to another purchase...
Here's a description:
1999 GS 400
Diamond White Pearl
Beige Interior
Bumper to Bumper Warranty until approx. 8.2007 or 100K (whichever comes first)
84,000 miles
Impeccable condition
17" BBS wheels
HID, Spolier, Heated Seats and 6 CD changer
Standard Audio
245/45/17 Kumho ASXs (5K old)
L-Tuned springs/shocks (5k old)
New Battery (5k old)
L-tuned exhuast TIPS (not system)
Tinted windows
The only flaw is the piping on the driver's seat is cracked (all leather is super condition). Car is waxed quarterly and clayed once per year.
No known repairs are needed and anything other than regular maintenance is covered by warranty.
$16,000 firm or $15,000 without the warranty (I can cash out). The warranty is an exclusionary (covers anything not listed in exclusions; i.e. abuse, wear and tear, glass, tires, etc.), bumper to bumper, take it where you like, no deductible, plan. I can cash the warranty out for $1,000. FWIW, this type of warranty can only be purchased when the car is still within factory warranty so I think you'll find value to keeping it in place ($50.00 transfer fee - I think).
I'm on the road, so please PM me if interested.
All the best,
Eric

I am looking for a GS4. The one photo of your car looks nice. Could you post some more pics? Interior shots and more of the exterior? With heated seats, I presume it has traction control. Do you still have the original wheels? BTW, I love the BBS wheels! Thanks.

Matt,
I think the forum limits the number of pictures - so shoot me your email through Private Messages and I'll forward some pics. (let me know what angles you want).
I do not have the orginal wheels but the BBS's come with the car.
All GS come with Traction control - so yes, it has TCS.
The car really is pristine and I'm a fanatic about care and upkeep.
Again, let me know the angles and I'll take the pics on Saturday. I get home from my trip on Friday. FWIW, the title is sitting in my filing cabinet - so no hassles with that issue.
Thanks,
Eric

Supe87,
Nice call-sign by the way!
Hey, shipping is always an option...
Regarding the Taurus...
Yep, it was a Taurus but it was a SHO (Super High Output). Back in 1989, when it was first released, the Yamaha 3.0 V-6 cranked out 220Bhp with a 0-60 time of 6.7 - and it was a 5 spped to boot. That sounds slow now but aside from a M5 - this thing was the fastest 4 door on the market. That engine is still was of my all time favorites. The car was junk but the engine was bulletproof and strong.
If you're interested in shipping of the GS let me know. I just had my new car shipped to me and it arrived with no problems. The warranty should help to provide some piece of mind regarding the car itself. If you want some pics, I have a 19 of them and the car is just is super shape.
All the best,
Eric
