So the car is still registered in california right? not in OR yet right? Reason i'm asking is because smogging would be a bytch if its considered an outta state car. most importantly it wouldnt be passing visual.

Yes the car is still registered and titled in CA. And it will not pass smog. You and I both know that there are ways around it. I can give any CA buyer a # to a friend that can handle the smog for you. It will cost you like $200 but well worth it to drive your car for 2 years!
