*SOLD*: '02 PHR Stage 2 Turbo 6spd IS300 *$26k*
*car is sold, thanks for looking*
Hey guys, I don't post very much here on this forum, I mostly lurk here and there but I have decided to sell my car. I never thought this day would come, but I have decided to list my car for sale to gauge interest. I am a bit reluctant to sell my car but it just isn't practical for me to keep anymore and I must. Anywho, on to the important stuff.
It is a 2002 IS300 with 30k miles.
Babied from day one the car was built and fully tuned by Jarrett himself at Powerhouse Racing. Since the day I picked it up, it has driven and performed flawlessly, dependable in every way. I have not had any trouble or even contacted Jarrett since the day I drove it home, haha. Jarrett can really build a car it seems, i'm not sure if Marc still posts but I believe his car is still going strong.
It has the PHR Stage 2 setup along with a v160 6 speed transmission swap along.
Some other mods include:
SC300 throttle body which uses drive by wire
IForged Aeros 18x8/18x9
RMM Front lip and Sideskirts
WOTM AZ Clutch
HKS Carbon TI
52mm Black Greddy Gauges
Wideband and Blitz SBC-ID
TRD yellow sway bars front/rear
Tein Stech lowering springs
As far as the PHR Stage 2 it includes the following from the PHR site:
"The most powerful bolt-on turbocharger system available for the IS300! This complete turbocharger system includes the PHR cast steel exhaust manifold, Garrett GT60 turbocharger, 2.5" mandrel bent aluminum intercooler piping, Spearco 500x200x75mm front mounted intercooler, HKS Super Sequential Blow Off Valve, PHR 3mm Metal Head Gasket, ARP Head Stud Kit, 3" HPC heat coated turbo downpipe, 3" HPC heat coated turbo midpipe, 3" air intake piping, PHR 17.5mm fuel rail, Denso 720cc injectors, 6AN fuel lines, Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator, Toyota Supra Turbo fuel pump, PHR Fuel Pump Bracket kit, Motec M4 ECU, Motec engine wire harness, and all sensors necessary to run the Motec system. This complete kit will allow the IS300 owner to run 10-15 psi on pump fuel, making 400-450 RWHP. At higher boost pressures, this kit has made over 540 RWHP on Marc Weinberg's five speed IS300! However, this turbo system is only for in-house install due to the complexities of the Motec engine management system. Does not include options such as a cat-back exhaust system, gauges, or supplemental electronics. Contact us for a quote today."
I originally built it as a daily driver, as i wanted nothing less than a car that performs yet can be as dependable as a daily driven car. I wanted a solid build that I simply would not have to worry about small problems or any problems for that matter at all! And that is exactly what i recieved, not a simple mishap or problematic situation as occured and I simply love the car to death.
I simply picked it up from jarrett and drove it home and have driven it ever since.
Also for those that are worried about noise, the car is relatively quiet for a turbo car under normal load. Daily driving out of boost sounds no louder than a stock is300 with exhaust. Other than the BOV going off it's pretty much quiet and normal. It is, however, open wastegate so under full boost it can be quite loud. As Jarrett said, "if your going to be fast, you might as well be loud". Nothing sounds better than open wg in my opinion.
The car dyno'd at 421rwhp 402rwtq at 16psi
I have never tracked it so i could not tell you the times.
I have full records of all services and maintenance documented and it has already had the 30k service done. Oil and plugs are changed every 3k miles on the dot.
It has been garage kept since day one, washed, waxed, the works continuously since i've owned it. I have sort of a pet peeve about keeping dirty cars. The interior is also simply emaculate.
I am asking $26k OBO
