1999 GS300 Turbo
#20
I just dropped off the car at a friend's house last night. We'll be cleaning it up and replacing a worn oil return hose from the turbo over the weekend. I hope to get pictures of it up, including a bunch of interior shots and any dings and scratches that are on the outside (There only a couple minor ones). A couple of the stock radio LCD display that has gone bad and I will take a picture of that too. It is currently running rather rich and I have a guy in the works to have it tuned. The paint on the rear spoiler that I got from the factory (added it on at Lexus of Orlando about 4 months after I got the car) is going bad. I will take a picture of that too. I got the car brand new from Lexus of Orlando in 1999 and have put every single mile on it myself. Turbo was done a little after the factory warranty was up (~60K-70K miles I think). I totally forgot to snag the VIN number before I dropped it off, so I'll get that up soon. I found my old dyno chart, so i'm posting that up. It was done at 15 psi, which is where I've had it set for the past 3 or so years. I wanted to run 20psi at the time, but my cheap manual boost controller couldn't go any higher. There appears to be some interest in the car and I will try to get all of you guys all the information I can. I'm not trying to hide anything and want to make sure you know exactly what you'll be getting.

Ok, sorry for the slow responses. Wedding stuff currently takes precedence over everything else right now. Here are some of the stuff people have been requesting:

If you take a look at the other pix he posted earlier you'll see the boost controller mounted incredibly clean and awesome inside the ash tray compartment just below the turbo timer.... BTW AWESOME JOB AND CLEAN MODDING, on the boost controller!!

That is correct. The unit in the ashtray is the SAFC. I have a manual boost controller in the engine bay. There is a boost gauge in the glovebox, mounted at a slight angle towards the driver in the slot right next to the CD changer. I can take a picture of that when I get home today. I went for the "sleeper" look so everything is well hidden, including the intercooler which you can bearly see, even when looking at it from the front.
