Default 1995 Lexus SC300 w/2jzgte & T78 F/S!!

I bought this car two years ago and I'm totally out of the car scene so her she is, price is FIRM at $10k and I see car's such as this going for thousand's more so this is a great deal imho. I want to sell it locally but if not the buyer pay's for all shipping cost and the car will be released after it's paid in FULL. It has 113K on car, 8K on rebuilt long block, Greddy T78, indash guage's are boost guage-oil pressure- amp's and temp. New front end and new headlight's along with new wheel's and tire's. I'm probably leaving something out and the car has a few dash light's on but they are minor issue's nothing engine related except for the lack of the second 02 sensor which activates the "engine check" light.

It's a 5-speed with tan interior which is a good shape for being 12yr's old no rip's or tear's just normal wear spot's and the rear seat's are like new. When I first got the car it dynoed 310rwhp at 10psi running pig rich but I put on a manual boost controller and turned it up to 15-17psi. I cannot guarantee it but I guess it was putting down close to if not 400rwhp at those boost level's, 1st-3rd gears are basically useless at that boost level LOL!

I bought the car as is and it has an underdrive pulley set, RPS 6-puck clutch and a big front mount I/C. I replaced the aftermarket radiator with a stock '95 TT radiator also and I'm about to put in a new battery. There are a few negative's to the car though albeit small one's. First is the cd/dvd player in the glove box was stolen along with the big amp that was in the trunk, I guess they were in a hurry because nothing else was taken or damaged. I have never gotten around to rewiring the speaker's but the stereo does work oh and it has a pop-up screen player along with an equalizer below it.

It also has a blown fuse that operate's my console, a/c etc etc but the a/c was cooling very nicely last time I used it. I only work 10min from home and with the sunroof the a/c was hardly used anyway. Here are a few more pic's oh and I am located in Houston, Texas.

For SERIOUS inquirey's please email me at "texasmr2@sbcglobal.net".

Thank's,
Gregg

PS,
I almost forgot that the car has Tokico strut's w/TEIN spring's.

This sounds like a great deal!!!
I got a few Q's I hope you dont mind answering..
-Is the car inspected and registered as it sits now?
-Is the car mechanically sound enough to drive back to the east coast?
-What are you using for engine management? Fuel management?

I will PM you now, I am a serious buyer..

PaCowboy,
Yes the car is registered and ,inspected on the side, as it does not have a cat. The car is as reliable as the day is long although I had overheating issue's BEFORE I replaced the aftermarket radiator with a NEW stock TT radiator. The car is running a stock TT fuel system along with a '95 TT ecu.

Gregg

PS,
The dash lights that are on are as follow's:
1. Oil light ONLY because it has an aftermarket "digital" guage.
2. Engine "check" light is on because the car is running only one 02 sensor because of the Greddy T78 kit dp only use's one 02 sensor and not the stock two sensor's.
3. "Light's" indicator on because the "reverse bulb or bulb's" is out.
4. Airbag light is on most likely due to a blown fuse.

All these light's have been ON since I purchased the car, well except for the reverse light, which eventually came back on after one of the"bulb's" blew. The stock SC does not use bulb's but a much more expensive type of light so I said screw the backup light's. I only drive 10min to and from work which is a round trip of less than 10 miles.

Which manual tranny does it have?
Is it a US or JDM engine?
Why was it ever running rich? bigger injectors?
What type of fuel management?

Thank's guy's and yes I could probably get another $2K for her but for some reason I normally just try to get what I think the market value is for something. I could have been one of those "well now the price is more" but that's not honest to me, maybe dumb, but not my way of doing business.

Gregg

na4now,
The tranny is the R154 and the engine is a USDM short block with a JDM Aristo head but everything else is USDM. It was running rich because I was only running 10psi, more boost would lean it out but I play on the safe side especially with a daily driver. No fuel management at all just the stock 550's and AFM hence the rich, ecu safe, condition. I ran the car a few time's at 15-17psi and it was a beast with 1st-3rd gear's rendered useless from wheel spin but without a wideband 02 sensor I did not take the chance.

I cannot answer that question honestly. If the '95 SC had it stock then yes but if it was an option I dont honestly know.
