Pull the swap out man, i'll pick it up. i get my tax return thursday. i can head out next week on tuesday or wednesday, don't let the junkyard or the craigslist ppl get it, if only u could hear my automatic tranny, it sounds all weak and it can go out anyday.

Update: I went to the DMV on Saturday to be reminded of the morons that work there.
Me: “Hi, I’d like to register my car for PNO (Planned Non-Operation) and get a salvage title”
Idiot: “Sure, no problem...”
5 minutes later…
Idiot: “OK, we’ve got the process started, now all you need to do is bring in a SMOG certificate, and have a brake inspection done, pay all fees, and you should get your title”.
Me: “Umm, it’s a parts car that’s missing a wheel, and will never drive on it’s own again, which is why I’m registering it as PNO”
Idiot: “Oh...”
20 minutes and 2 managers later, I walked out with a “JUNKED” receipt. It’s not exactly a title, but it’s got a VIN# and my name on it, so you’ll know I didn’t steal this mess from a junkyard.
Car is still available for pickup for $500. Once it starts getting warmer, and the days get longer, I’ll start parting it out, at which point I’ll probably ask about $500 just for the 5spd swap.
Get the package deal while it’s still a package deal!

Apparently, having "NorCal" in the title of the thread does not give away the car's location, so I'll be a bit more specific.
