You're looking but you're not gonna get. No sane person will pay you that much for the car. Good luck.

JDMUSCLE, what package did you get and condition?

what color also interior and exterior. I am looking also and I think the black interior yields a higher price.

How did you find your deal? heavy negotiation? or take it or leave it at a desperate dealer?

Private Party Value is what a buyer can expect to pay when buying a used car from a private party. The Private Party Value assumes the vehicle is sold "As Is" and carries no warranty (other than the continuing factory warranty). I had no idea LS prices had dropped that much...maybe because I never looked. But this is very good to know. For the OP, always research autotrader and cars.com to see what simillar cars in your area are selling for to help come up with a price.

I'm in market for LS and cars.com has a CPO 2005 with 38K for $32K. I doubt an 03 with 53K is going to pull even $25K, especially private sale.

Wait till you try and sell your house, you will be even more disappointed with the price drop.

unless you are rolling, always better to buy 3-4 years used for a high end luxury car.

Complete and verifiable service records.
Less than 5% of all used vehicles fall into this category.

Clean title history, the paints, body, and interior have only minor (if any) blemishes, and there are no major mechanical problems.
Little or no rust on this vehicle.
Tires match and have substantial tread wear left.
A "good" vehicle will need some reconditioning to be sold at retail.
Most consumer owned vehicles fall into this category.
Fair
$30,910

Some mechanical or cosmetic defects and needs servicing but is still in reasonable running condition.
Clean title history, the paint, body and/or interior need work performed by a professional.
Tires may need to be replaced.
