I'm looking for a nice 2nd Generation GS400 or GS430 around the DC metro area. My budget is about $10k max. Please let me know if you have anything or know of anything like that. Thanks in advance.

There was a white one in Craigslist last weekend that seemed decent, 86k miles. I went to see it, but there were a few things they didn't mention in teh ad, like NO SEATBELTS!! Needless to say, I'm still looking.

just an fyi, i dont think 10k will get you a 430 in decent shape... there should be a few 400s in the regular classifieds though if you're interested (like autotrader, cars.com)

The guys that I met with were nice enough, but the seatbelts were a little weird. There was the shoulder part, but that's it. They said it's because the car was in an accident and the front drivers side fender was replaced, but I don't understand what that has to do with the seatbelts not being there. I didn't ask any further. Between that, the airbag light being on, the radio not putting out any sound, the windshield being cracked, and the speedo not working, I figured this was not the GS400 for me.
I understand my budget may be a little low for a 430, but I thought I would put it out there. I think I'd rather have a 400 anyway due to the eshift. I'm coming from driving a manual for as long as I remember, so this is going to be a change for me to begin with. I have my first kid (son) on the way, so this is for him. I appreciate you guys keeping an eye out for me.

the seat belt may not b there maybe they had to CUT the person out of the car? not a pretty thought but that car sounds like it is no good. Thanks for the headsup. I'm only looking for white GS4's so I'll let you know if I see any my way.

Yeah, very shady. It's funny, white is my least favorite color, so I think you and I won't have any problems. I"ll send some white ones I find your way.

definitely seems shady, i hate people that don't reveal BLATANT issues up front and anytime i run into that, i run. i checked out an s2k a lil while ago where the guy stated the exterior was "flawless" over the phone... it had 3 badly curbed wheels, a badly scraped front lip (from end to end), and last but not least, a baseball-sized dent in the bumper that would've cost $400 to fix.
