I'm basically going to copy and paste the text from my craigslist ad. Some of you may be surprised to see me selling this (being that I enlisted much help from clublexus in finding my perfect ES 250), but alas, the economy has caught up to me.

White Exterior with Silver Trim (NO rust, and very few barely visible scratches on the paint surface)
Tan Leather Interior (looks a bit worn, but no rips, tears, or irreparable damage)

Timing belt recently replaced


I purchased this vehicle back in November 2008 as my "toy" car, after about 3 months of searching for the "closest to perfect" 5 speed ES 250 I could find. The good news: I found it! The bad news: I lost my job a month later and the car must go.

I'm an ES 250 enthusiast who has owned 2 ES 250s, and was hoping to turn this car into my project car - adding some rims, lowering the body, new stereo system, etc. And after some serious shopping, I can say that this ES 250 is in great shape. It pains me greatly to see it go, because clean and reliable ES 250s are hard to come by these days. But hobby must give way to necessity, and I simply can't afford to own and insure 2 cars while unemployed (one of which, the ES 250, I barely drive).

There are no major mechanical problems with this car. There is a slight rattling that comes from the back end of the vehicle when it's driven over bumpy roads (could be suspension, alignment, ??). There is also occasional engine hesitation while accelerating (although a mechanic has told me that it most likely needs new spark plugs.) But given the ES 250's I've test driven over the last several months, this one takes the cake. It would be a great buy for a Lexus enthusiast, or for someone looking for a cheap, clean, attractive, and reliable automobile.
