What do you mean by "slight exhaust note."?
The exhaust note is what you hear when a car accelerates. Not to be confused with an exhaust leak. It is slight because this is a Lexus and the exhaust note isn't obnoxious, but it's there and it sounds great!
And how do you know that its coming from the exhaust and not from something else?
Where else would an exhaust note come from?

I will say this to the poster. If your realistic about selling your car and you really need to get rid of it for important reasons then post it find an average between KBB, NADA fair market prices. If not keep it. In my search I don't even give the time of day to prices this high. Its not that I don't have the money its just that I don't want to be upside down in a car as soon as I get it.
Like other posters have stated its your car and post the price how you like. I'm just giving an opinion.
Good Luck and free bump.

In the middle
I am in the middle there. I would pay $13K for it. (right now looking at $21,111 for a 05 RL with aspec wheels) trying to get financed for with putting $15K down. But I wouldn't pay $16K for it because I can't justify the price on any KBB or anything close to that.

i'm not going to crap on this thread the way that you guys are doing.
i think i've made it clear that he should be realistic about sale price but i think the seller has made it clear he does not have to sell the car and can keep it for anything less than what he wants to sell for.
simple market economics.
i think what will happen is that the car will continue to be on the market due to the high price. price of the car will continue to depreciate over time (when i said 14k a month ago and he thought it was low, now it is more like 13-13.5k now). once seller realize that the price is so crappy, he'll decide to keep it and guess what, he'll be happy w/ a nice car. the buyers in the market will move on and we'll all be happy.
in the mean time, feel free to PM him your offers but let him sell his car in peace w/out all these negative comments.

Holy thread crap! Man, I can't believe some of the comments left in this thread. If you're not interested or need more information, why post your opinions in my for sale ad? If you want to discuss the value of cars, start your own thread in the third generation forum where that type of discussion belongs.
