wtt 03 evo 8 for gte swapped sc or maybe a gs or 12,500 cash **rebuilt title**
I have an 03 evo 8 with 48k miles and a rebuilt title due to some body damage but it can be titled anywhere since the inspection has already been done which is the hard part
I have the title in hand.
I got this car after it had side swiped a guard rail and a tree branch fell on the roof while waiting to be fixed from the guard rail brush so it was declared a total loss by the ins company so I am told by the previous owner.
The car was dead stock when I got it and I have upgraded some things along the way which I will list in a bit.
I have replaced the roof with an aluminum MR roof.
The front bumper was converted to evo 9 MR SE spec at a cost of 2k all together since I bought it all new
The rear tails are brand new oem evo 9 at a cost of 490.00
The front headlights are brand new oem evo 9 at a cost of 2,200
I am installing a brand new oem evo 9 transmission as this add is being posted and that was a cost of 3,400
New act hdss clutch kit 600.00
3inch tbe exhaust (borla) 400
ams front mount intercooler Used 400.00
speed source licp 180.00
speed source shifter bushings and clutch hose 90.00
Muse upper icp 175.00
ams/muse smallbatt kit 270.00
walbro fp 90.00
misc paint work 2,500
Tein lowering springs 250.00
Ams motor mount kit 220.00
New fp evo 9 turbo 1,100 w/ install kit
aluminum radiator
And tons of other stuff I am forgeting since my memory sucks lol!
It will need a new rr 1/4 pannel installed in which I have purchased a pair at a cost of 800.00 and the lr although it looks good from a distance will need either a new one(which I have) or to be fixed and other than that it runs absolutly tip top with cold a/c and the works.
The alignment is right on and drives straight as can be.
I am looking for a car of equal value with a gte swap already done as I miss my 95 sc300 but I am pickey as I like things to be neat and well cared for.
I am in no hurry to sell this car and frankly I don't care if it ever sells
I have dumped over 10k in to this car and I purchased the car for 10.5k in febuary so I have over 20k in to it in the course of 6 months or so.
I am 31 years old and a mechanic by trade so this not a car some punk kid beat to hell, I have been very **** with the maintainance and treat her like one of my children.

Ha ha, I just sold my 08 busa since it was my first bike and I could not stay out of the throttle, ever. So my friends and family begged me to get rid of it so to respect their wish I did since to be honest it scared me every time I rode it
I am glad I am here today to type this since it could have been much diffrent if I kept it, I just did not have the experience on a bike to be riding that.
I did however run a 9 sec pass before I sold it which is why I bought it to begin with.
