F/S: 1997 SC300, 2JZGTE, PT67 - $9k
Car is in North Carolina...but Florida plates still, since I moved here from FL.
Price is @ $9,000, but possibly negotiable. Title is clear, but I lost it so I need to order a replacement before I sell the car. Preferred contact is here or TurboLexra@gmail.com or AIM: TurboLexra. Obviously if you contact me in one of those 3 places I can pass my phone # for texting/calls. I do not post that here to avoid unnecessary spam/telemarketing/etc.
As of right now, I may be selling the car to a buddy once he deploys but I am going to see if there is any interest here as well.
I pulled down my initial original F/S back in the day before I figured out what I was going to do with the car since I was still daily driving it. Now that my gf and I broke up, I have 3 cars, and really have no need for the Lexus with the Supra coming out of the shop in a week. An Accord became my daily driver instead of the Lexus. I still got about 24mpg with the Lexus on the highway with the MapECU, but the Accord does 30mpg+ so it was the logical choice.
1997 Lexus SC300, Automatic, Pearl White
Mileage: (will check tomorrow, somewhere around 127-130k)
Mods:
JDM 2JZGTE Swap, USDM Harness (OBD-I) & MapECU w/Fields Harness
PT67, WOTM Manifold, WOTM 4" DP to Dual 3" Magnaflow, TiAL WG, FMIC (unknown brand) w/TiAL BOV
Innovative LC-1 Wideband w/blue DB Gauge
DEFI Boost Gauge & Link Controller
JL 10" IB4 in rear deck w/basic Pioneer Amp
Car has recently began to burn some oil, cannot see it in the exhaust but I can smell it. I have a hunch that the seal on the turbo has gone bad, haven't gone to pull the intake pipe off to take a look yet. It is definitely noticeable if boosted, still not visually. But my pricing reflects the possible need for a turbo rebuild. Also, auto trans shifts ok to daily drive...but it should be replaced/rebuilt. It has held boost fine, but I wouldn't depend on it for someone that is a lead-foot.
Other minor items such as paint chips here and there, and the MapECU could use a re-wire to power/ground to make it look pretty. I just put it in to make sure it worked and could be driven around/tuned. Interior is fine, no rips in the seats, non-smoker. Passenger seat is not bolted down since I was contemplating rewiring the MapECU to make it pretty but lost interest in that project.
The most recent pic, is not very good, just wanted to show the wheels that are on the car at the present time. The other pics are in FL back when the car had Ruff 278s on it.
No extreme hurry to sell, but figured I would put it out here.

And no it's not crooked, but due to the angle it was taken at I can see how you would think that based on the picture. It also has no actual exhaust tips on it, which was what I was depicting in the image. Just a couple pieces of stainless 3" pipe off the muffler outlets. I wasn't able to find 3" inlet tips that were short enough to work when I was having the system installed. Now, I have the tips (in boxes) but as with everything else related to the car... I lost interest in spending time/money on the lexus.

Alright, so I ran outside to take them... Car is dirty, but again...you get the idea.
Please note that the gauge for the wideband was a temporary install. The intent was to tune it and then either permanently mount it (hide wires) or hide it in the glove box. But the ugly 4 wires going to it are obviously not a permanent choice. Also never prettied up the engine bay, never really had the desire.
Pics in no particular order...

Drove the car today, all is well... Still gets something around 24mpg on the highway... cruising at 14.4-15.0 A/F. Though I only drive it about once a week while waiting for the Supra.
