My friend whom works for Toyota and I did the swap. It's smogged until atleast 2011 (Don't know how many years inbetween smogs they require). A friend who owns a smog shop should be able to let you know what exactly should be done to pass smog. Power steering, windows, sunroof all work plus every other power component except the RPM guage - it's probably an ECU problem and that's too complicated for me. I never bought a Supra TT cruise control cable, so to get that to work all you need is the cable.
Dr. Tweak, i think is his username, did the wire harness for me. Paid over $700 for that! but it was worth it because everything worked like a charm when I got the updated harnesss back.
As for the A/C. It works. Blows cold air just like it should, but it makes a noise that i don't like so I never ever use it. I still have the A/C compressor from the 2jzge motor too.
I have the black radiator fan cover thing(2 piece) but never even tried to install it. I don't see why it wouldn't fit even with the Mishimoto radiator in there. I think I might as well try to put it on just for the hell of it. Funny how all the little non essential things are put off when you own and drive the car, and somehow get done when you want to sell it.
