97 Lexus LS400 - Black on Black
I am looking to sell or trade my 97 LS400 for a SC300 or older GS300.. Swapped cars are ok as well...
The Good:
- JIC Coilovers
- Custom Exhaust
- 19" Wheels, relatively new tires
- Black on Black on Black
- The car sounds great, and the motor runs strong.
- 8k HID's
The Bad:
- Transmission is starting to slip a bit.. May need to be replaced/rebuilt soon
- Slight interior blemishes on the leather
- Slight Exterior Blemishes, and a scratch on the driver's door.
I'll get mileage by tomorrow..
The car is really clean, and extremely well maintained.

Looking for $6,000 obo on the car, and as I said, looking for trades as well. I have the pinkslip in hand, and the car just passed smog without an effort.

The Mileage on the car is 159,939, and all of the major services (including timing belt) have been done.

At work right now, I'll get the mileage up as soon as I get home. I'll also throw up some interior shots if I have them.. otherwise I'll snap a few and upload them over the weekend.

where in ca you from? i have a sc300 if you want to trade... white sc300 origin back bumper origin sideskirts origin front fenders 97 front bumper 50mm rear missle wide body fenders molded on... car is ready for like some 19by12s almost finish black interior just need doorpanels black front seatbelts and black back seats everything else i have in gray rsx front seat tien basics coil over daizon controle arm bushing... and the car is turbo charged but there is a little problem if you interested lemme know.

The trans is going to need to be repaired. I just drove it over to a local (expensive) shop that happens to be right down the street and does free evaluations. They also have a great reputation for being honest, so I though't I'd give them a shot. They told me that something about section/cylinder/something 3 needs to be repaired, as it was leaking in their test. I have no technical knowledge so I am not clear on what that means exactly, so I asked them how much it would be.. They quoted me between $600-800.

Hmmmm.. quite possible. I will let you know on that one.. I don't have all too much cash to throw around or I would be fixing my trans and keeping the car.. haha..
