Thanks Tres!

Update: I just spoke to the person who actually put this car together and found some interesting things along with pictures!!!!
The motor was COMPLETLY overhauled around 30K ago. It was totaly taken apart, cleaned, and added some nice performance parts at a local performace shop.
The car has a thicker headgasket (see pic) and ARP head studs. The motor was COMPLETELY cleaned and the turbo is NOT a eBay turbo. It is an eBay turbo housing. I am guessing they are garrett internals but I really dont know. I will let the pics talk for themselves.

Sold the IS wheels and 1 of the climate controls. I MIGHT be parting this car out. If no one buys it here soon...this is really getting annoying.

I'm not trying to be a **** - but what exactly is getting annoying? That you can't sell your car? If you want to drive modified cars such as yours, you will soon learn that it takes months to sell such a car. And usually for a lot less than you think it's worth.

As someone who has been there and done that years ago let me give you one piece of advice. Get your red 97 spd back and quit dicking around with FI cars

Im just getting annoyed with the economy which is nothing I can change. I might as well just part the car out considering I have some parts on the car I would like to keep. I know about selling these, it's not the first one i've had. I don't see myself getting the red car back even tho I loved it. And I can't leave boost. It's in my blood!

I found out some things about the car (body) that makes me not want to sell it to anyone. Things were done to it that I did not know about and do NOT want to sell the car to anyone. I am parting the car out now, and I have sold the motor and transmission. I am keeping the wheels, coilovers, traction rods, and many other parts off of it to build the other SC.

Mods please lock this thread. I will not sell the car to anyone even if they offer me 15K.

Not all of it, just a lot of grey parts from the old car. I am missing upper door panels, carpet, and thats really about it.

I just don't want the word getting around before I actually get all of the parts off of the car, but since its already started getting parted out, the car had a title stating that it was a white 92' car and it has never been painted, and its definatly black. Lol. It was swapped.
I would NEVER sell someone a car like that. I am not that kind of person. I think its wrong to do that. I dont want to get a bad name on any of the forums, so I think part out is the best option at this point and its something I want to do.
